These examples describe practical, authorized cleanup tasks. Results depend on the size of the mask and the visual detail behind it.

Small watermark on an owned photo

A compact mark over sky, wall, or another consistent surface is a good starting point. Mask closely and inspect the edge after repair.

Treat each line or cluster separately when the stamp overlaps more than one texture.

Use a narrow brush and work one defect at a time. Repair cannot recover historically accurate detail that is absent from the scan.
